Dear Professor Le Van Toan I have been looking online and see your activities, so since I have been in Ho Chi Minh City over 2 years now, I thought it was time to see if we might meet. I am a long time friend of India (and Vietnam) and have visited Kolkata every years since 1987, with several books on India-related issues. My current research, funded by Fostect, is on the history of port cultures in India, specifically Serampore in West Bengal. I am very keen to meet you and hear about the activities of your centre, and I would hope as well to be able to purchase a copy of the book Ho Chi Minh with India (if there is an online link to buy it, I cannot find it). You can see my cv on my staff page and some links below. sincerely John Hutnyk (Assoc Prof, XH&NV TDTU) Web of Science Researcher ID K-3087-2019    ORCID 0000-0003-4826-8949 http://hutnyk.wordpress.com/about/     http://tdt.academia.edu/JohnHutnykJohn Hutnyk, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
