Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan, Member of Central Committee of Viet Nam Communist Party, the President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics chaired the meeting. Indian delegation included Mr. Vijay Kuma, the First Secretary of Embassy of India in Viet Nam and some cadres of the Embassy. Delegation from the Academy included Assoc. Prof. PhD. Le Van Toan - Director of Centre for Indian Studies, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Hoang Van Nghia – Deputy Director in charge of Department of International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Trinh Duc Thao - Director of Institute of State and Law, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Ngo Tuan Nghia – Director of Institute of Political Economics, Assoc. Prof. PhD. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of Institute of Leadershio Science and Public Policy, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao – Deputy Director of Institute of Scientific Information, Deputy Director of Centre for Indian Studies, along with researchers from Departments, Institutes, Centre of the Academy.
At the meeting, Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan introduced the overview of economic, political and social situation of Viet Nam after 30 years of State Renovation of the Party, the Government and People of Viet Nam.
Cadres and learners of the India Institute of Management Bangalore questioned about the economic – society development issues of Viet Nam such as: Economic Development Policy of Viet Nam since Renovation Process, methods to promote the economy to develop fast and sustainably, policy in agricultural goods, policy of attracting foreign investment, policy of promoting domestic enterprises to develop and undertake the main role of the economy, methods of encouraging services, the issue of gender equality in Viet Nam... In addition, Indian learners expressed their admiration to achievements of Viet Nam in 30 years of implementing Renovation policy. The above issues were thoroughly answered by Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan and specialists of the Academy.
After two hours of actively working and discussing, Mr. Neelakantan Ravi, on behalf of the India Institute of Management Bangalore, honestly thanked Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan and specialists of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics for taking time to greet and discuss. Mr. Ravi also expressed his admiration of achievements of Vietnamese people; hope to come back to beautiful Viet Nam.
Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan on behalf of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics welcomes the visit of the India Institute of Management Bangalore. Professor Ta Ngoc Tan hoped Indian cadres and learners would visit Viet Nam more in the future. Professor Tan wished the delegation to obtain many excellent studying results, contributing to the development of India as well as the friendship between Viet Nam and India for sustainable development in the future.
