On 22 February 2016, Nina Tshering La, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of India in Vietnam visited and worked with the Centre for Indian Studies, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Assoc. Prof. Le Van Toan, Director of the Centre chaired the meeting.
In the afternoon of 01/19/2016, at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Prof. PhD. Ta Ngoc Tan, Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Academy awarded a medal “For the contribution to the development of the Academy” to Mrs. Preeti Saran, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam to recognize her dedication and contributions to the development of the Academy over years.
